A modern, well-equipped village hall in Sandleheath
News Posted: 29 April 2022
The Village Hall Trustees have been busy monitoring the use of our Hall as the first quarter of 2022 ends, and with it our first full year of operation, aligned with a reduction in Covid 19 restrictions. The new year saw the start of a market analysis project to measure how often the hall is used, by whom and for what activities. The good news is that bookings have increased for each of the first three months of this year with close to 100 bookings in total, resulting in over 175 hours of use, with approximately 800 people attending. Activities vary from regular events such as Pilates, Tai Chi, Circuit Training and Bridge Club, coffee mornings and committee meetings, jewellery and craft exhibitions and various private functions from Christenings to funeral wakes and a gorwing number of children's parties.
We are also keen to monitor the opinions of those who use the Hall and this too conintues to be positive with one recent customer writing to tell us "teh Hall was an ideal venue for my daughter's party with everything we needed. we will definitely book again when the occassion arises!"
So, all in all a great start to 2022 but we still have plenty of capacity for more and varied use of the Hall by our local community. Why not start a one-off or regular activity yourself? We'd love to discuss any ideas you have and help you to realise them. For more information or enquiries about booking the Hall please visit the Bookings page on this website.
