A modern, well-equipped village hall in Sandleheath

Film Night Wednesday 29th May

News Posted: 29 May 2024

Our film this month is the black comedy mystery: ‘Wicked Little Letters’ (15) directed by Thea Sharrock and written by Jonny Sweet. The film is set in a seaside town in the 1920s and stars Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley and Timothy Spall.

  • ‘When people in Littlehampton - including conservative local Edith - begin to receive letters full of hilarious profanities, rowdy Irish migrant Rose is charged with the crime. Suspecting that something is amiss, the town's women investigate.’ IMDb.

Please note that this film contains very strong language, strong sex references and controlling behaviour.

Our film nights are proving very popular with attendances of up to 50 persons, and we very much hope you’ll come along and join your fellow Sandleheathers and our good friends from the wider community at this showing.

As usual, tickets are on sale at the village shop at £5, or on the door at £6.

A beer/wine/soft drinks bar, and tea and coffee will be available from 7.00 pm and the screening will commence at 7.30 pm.
