Our Annual General Meeting
Our AGM took place in the village hall Thursday 21st October and there was a great turnout by our residents. During the meeting, the Chairman of our Board of Trustees, Keith Bennett, gave a presentation on our successful Refurbishment Programme, which had transformed St. Aldhelm's from a redundant church into a contemporary village hall, having raised some £200,000 to complete it.
He also reminded attendees that trustees are still fundraising for an Audio Visual System for the hall, having raised some £9,000 towards the £20,000 requirement.
The meeting also approved the continuation of all five trustees for another year. They are Keith Bennett (Chairman), John Greener (Treasurer), Alan Booth, Nigel Holmes and Mike Richardson.
